This is news to me! I have lived in South Mississippi for the last ten years. I noticed shortly after moving here that there is a mindset that runs through this state and that is that we should all be just like the ones in power whether religious, political, or anything else. The good jobs (better pay, medical, retirement, etc.) are given to the boss’ relatives or best friends. It begins in the public school indoctrination centers and the 501c3 churches. This state luvs to ruin people who don’t go along with their program and to keep the majority of people in poverty so they are more easily controlled. If you qualify for the food stamp/EBT program you have to sign an agreement with the state to be a slave laborer for no pay if they require your help and at the same time do nothing to ensure stable jobs that can provide support for the poor. It’s the rich looking out for themselves and occassionally throwing the rest of us a bone to placate us. Is it any wonder the county I live in is overrun by illegal drugs with new meth labs popping up overnight? In this state there are still families with millions of dollars that they came into through inheritances that derive from before the Civil War because of slave labor on the farms. These families made fortunes off the blood and sweat of others. Do you really think those families want anything to change in this state? No, they don’t. These people with power know that if they can keep the majority of the people poor and under-educated it will serve their purposes and make them richer. For example, in the northern part of the state, the Delta area, are many of the farms. At twelve years of age a child can quit public school to work on the family farm and not be in trouble for truancy or anything else. Yup, this state’s mindset reflects the deranged tendencies of psychopaths who love control and power and greed. Look at what our governor did recently by pardoning an assortment of murderers. I guess now that I’ve spoken out against the order of the day they’ll be coming for me soon.
